Focaccia baker from Liguria
One day, in December 2015, Pietro decided to shake up his life.
After leaving his job as a builder, he decided to go on a journey to Liguria and Piemonte, to unveil the secrets of the renowned focaccia bread.
After he learnt the magic behind its dough making, he got back to Bergamo to open Krescenza, a focaccia bakery in the heart of town.
Krescenza quickly became a "must try" and it's now a required stop for people from all over Bergamo. There you can indulge in typical slice focaccia, Recco style or virtuously filled with natural and selected ingredients.
Everything in the bakery is made by Pietro, who genuinely transmits his passion to each and every client who steps in. He will make you try a little piece of this and a little piece of that and you will instantly feel at home.
The ambience is cozy, minimal and modern.
